Therefore, researchers need to know how the implementation of visionary leadership is applied by the principal there and the extent of the role and function of visionary leadership at MTs Raudhatul Muttaqien Kalasan Sleman Yogyakarta. This type of research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Determination of the subject using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using interviews with seven informants including the head of the school principal, representative for student affairs, deputy for curriculum, representative for facilities and infrastructure, representative for public relations, one of the educators and education staff at MTs Raudhatul Muttaqien Kalasan Sleman Yogyakarta, and documentation. The data analysis used is Huberman and Miles which is called the interactive model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion drawing. The data validity technique used triangulation method, namely by testing data from interviews with documentation. The results of his research, the form of visionary leadership of the Principal at MTs Raudhatul Muttaqien Kalasan Sleman Yogyakarta can be observed from the institutional program implemented in accordance with the vision of the Institute, namely "Mustikaning Laku" which emphasizes Javanese culture, namely Sunday pon, Jawani, Monday and Thursday paeng, and edupreneurship. To improve the quality of human resources with integrity, it is realized in four programs, namely planning and procurement of employees, coaching and developing employees in the form of recommendations and training, assessing and compensation in the form of Teacher Performance Assessments, as well as promotions in the form of delegation to various events organized by district or provincial government. %Z Pembimbing: Drs.
