Ag abstract: The issue of character education is one of the studies that is often discussed. Many efforts have been made to instill character education in students. One of these efforts is through the subjects of aqidah akhlak. The concept of the material in the learning of morals has a close correlation with the cultivation of character education. Therefore, this study explores how to inculcate character education through moral aqidah subjects in grade IV MIN 6 Pidie. This research was carried out with the aim of, firstly, to find out the Process of Implementing Akhlak Teachers in Instilling Character Education in Class IV MIN 6 Pidie, Aceh Province. Second, to find out the Supporting and Inhibiting Factors in the Implementation of Akidah Akhlak Teachers in Instilling Education in Class IV MIN 6 Pidie Aceh Province. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis with the research population being teachers of aqidah class IV MIN 6 Pidie, class IV students of MIN 6 Pidie, and the principal of MIN 6 Pidie. Data collection techniques were obtained through three stages, namely: observation, interviews and documentation which were then analyzed using data triangulation techniques and theories. The results of the research obtained are first, the teacher of moral aqidah in instilling character education is carried out in two ways, namely: (!) the habituation method which includes religious character and mutual cooperation, and (2) exemplary method which includes the character of discipline and nationalism. Two factors that support the cultivation of character education through the subjects of moral aqidah are the role of parents, the environment, teacher competence, and infrastructure.
