Ag abstract: The background of this research is that children shelter Home Shelter as a child who has a background and social circumstances far from family happiness and harmony. Though they basically have the desire to live properly, full of peace and sincerity of love and love say. They need attention and opportunities for education. One of them is moral education. In fact, moral education is a process that can grow the human attitude to be more perfect, so that a positive impact on life. Thus, moral education is needed, given the reality surrounding which is in the midst of the flow of modernization and westernization, increasingly show the decline of morals. The problem of this research is how the pattern of moral education in shelter, as well as iplementasi and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of moral education in shelter. the results of this study is expected to be used to improve the implementation of moral education for foster children / assisted. This research is a qualitative field research, taking background of Rumah Halter Bumi Damai Kotagede Yogyakarta. Data collection is done by conducting direct observation, in-depth interview and documentation. Data analysis is done by giving meaning to the data collected, and from the meaning is taken conclusion. The examination of the validity of data is done by holding triangulation. The result of the research shows that the pattern of moral education in the Rumah Bumi Singgah Damai begins with changing the behavior pattern of the child. As for the basic implementation of moral education according to the main basis of Al-Qur'an and hadith, it leads to a noble purpose, with material that includes the relationship of man with God, man with man, and man with nature. Factors supporting the positive response and openness of children about the implementation of moral education, the available facilities and facilities, such as references and operational funds. The other factors of the board, and companions and related institutions (Dinas Sosial) which has a good principles and objectives and established close cooperation to help foster children in obtaining their rights.
