N2  - This study aims to determine the implementation of entrepreneurship  education in realizing Islamic philanthropy and the results of its application in Pondok Pesantren Al-Akhlakul Karimah Budi Mulyo Kulon Progo. This research is done because the boarding school is trying to overcome the poverty that occurs in the surrounding by holding an entrepreneurship education and using the results to realize the philanthropy of Islam. This research is a type of qualitative research, by taking the background of Al-Akhlakul Karimah Budi Mulyo Kulon Progo Pondok Pesantren. Methods of data collection were obtained from observation, documentation, and interview. The subjects of this study are the caregivers and students of Pondok Pesantren Al-Akhlakul Karimah Budi Mulyo Kulon Progo. Data analysis is done by collecting data, selecting and compiling the data obtained, then processed and analyzed so that can be drawn conclusion. The examination of data validity is done by triangulation technique. 
The results showed that the implementation of entrepreneurship education in realizing Islamic philanthropy implemented in Al-Akhlakul Karimah Budi Mulyo Kulon Progo Pondok Pesantren includes educational components such as students, educators, materials, and methods that integrate Islamic entrepreneurship and philanthropy values. Internalization of entrepreneurship education is integrated in all subjects and practice of entrepreneurship. The implementation of entrepreneurship education is carried out through the planning, implementation and evaluation phases. The result of the application of entrepreneurship education in the realization of Islamic philanthropy can be proven through charity-based activities of social care carried out routinely by Pondok Pesantren Al-Akhlakul Karimah Budi Mulyo Kulon Progo such as: 1) clean up daily school room, 2) help caregivers market products every week, 3) compensation for orphans every Muharram, 4) social service gebyar 500 santri before the new school year, 5) zakat fitrah in the month of Ramadan, and 6) provide assistance to the house or mosque under construction. The Islamic philanthropy performed by KH. Mararusli to form a philanthropic character on his santrinya is by: a) educating santri with compassion and b) eliminating one hundred percent of the cost of santri who studied in it.
