abstract: This study aims to develop aves skeleton media as the source of Biology learning in skeleton main sub-material for Senior High School or MA students grade XI IPA, and to understand the feasibility of aves skeleton media as an alternative media in Biology learning process. The category of this research is research development using the development procedure of Four-D model. The undertaken development stages consists of define, design, and development. The feasibility assessment instruments of aves skeleton media are in the form of questionnaire and responses that include several assessment components covering presentation components of aves skeleton media, supplement book, content feasibility, and language. Aves skeleton media has been assessed by one person of biological materials expert, one person of media expert, and three people of peer reviewers on validation stage, and has been assessed by three Senior High School Biology teachers and has been responded by fifteen Senior High School students grade XI IPA in a limited trial test through legibility test. Teachers and students who are involved in the study came from SMA N 1 Banguntapan, Bantul. The obtained data is qualitative data. Assessment results from each reviewer group were averaged and were changed into percentage so that it would be known the feasibility of aves skeleton media. 
The results showed that the aves skeleton media as the source of Biology learning in skeleton main sub-material for Senior High School or MA students grade XI IPA which was developed has met the very good eligibility of Aves Skeleton Media criterias. According to the experts and the reviewers, this media was categorized ‘very good’ with a percentage of 95.00% and 86,97%; and based on Biology teachers and students, this aves skeleton media was categorized ‘very good’ and ‘good’ with a percentage of 84.13% and 84%.
