The problem formulation in this research is how the use of library in supporting teaching learning activities. The purpose of this research is to know the use of the library of SMP N 2 Sewon Bantul in supporting teaching learning process. This research is collected by interviewing seriously, observation, and documentation. All qualitative data which are collected will be analyzed through three phases, they are reduction of data, presentation of data, and verification of data. This qualitative research used validity test, and reliability test including credibility test (internal validity), tranferability (external validity), dependability (reliability), and confirmability (obyectivities). The result of this research is know that the library of SMP N 2 Sewon Bantul can be used generally as a support in teaching learning activities, they are the school library can make the student like reading , it can enrich the students experience in studying it can make a habit in studying individually that make the student able to study individually, it can increase the process of reading technique, it can help the improvement of language ability, it can practice the students to be responsibility, it can help the students in completing the school tasks, it can help the teacher in searching the teaching sources, it also can help the students, the teachers and the officials in developing of science and technology. Considering how the importance of the school library in supporting teaching. Learnig activities, so all element of school are expected to be able to use the school library maximally.
