N2  - This study aims to describe the implementation of character education in scouting extracurricular activities at MIN 1 Yogyakarta related to the value of discipline. This study uses a qualitative research approach. This research was conducted at MIN 1 Yogyakarta during Scout extracurricular activities. The subjects of this study were students, scout coaches, and madrasa heads. The procedure for collecting data in this study used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is through the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that according to the scout coaches, the character values that need to be applied to students are discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. At the planning stage, the trainer prepares the material to be delivered to students, and enforces rules that all students must obey. The value of discipline has been reflected in research, including supervisors and students who have been disciplined in time and obeyed the rules. In the attitude discipline, during the activity it has been carried out by the coach and the student. The coach always carries out evaluation activities, namely attitude evaluation and task evaluation.
