N2  - The purpose of this study is to find out the concept of children's education in perspective Guru Burhanuddin and his implementation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darusiddiqien Nahdlatul Wathan Mertak Paok
The type of research used is qualitative research with a field research approach Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and Documentation. In analyzing data using Miles and Huberman analysis techniques, data analysis that can be done at the time of data collection has been reduced to three stages, namely reduction, and presentation of data and conclusion withdrawal or data verification. While the technique of checking validity using triangulation is credibility testing is done by penetrating data from various sources in various ways and times.
The results showed that the pattern of children's educational concepts in the view of Tuan Guru Burhanuddin included three concepts including 1 al-Ta?dib which is educating, nurturing and directing in the field of Adab (Character) in seeking knowledge. 2) al-Ta?allumul Ilma teaches the basics of strong religious science by balancing religious science and general science. 3) ) al?Amalu bihi reflects the knowledge obtained. The three concepts are very clear the emphasis of children's education is oriented to character because the basis As for the implementation of children's education in the Ibtidaiyah Madrasah environment carried out by teachers with two main foundation models, namely 1) habitual action formation (2) methods of self-sanctity in the child's soul. In reflecting the thoughts of Master Master in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah more to the cultivation of character in his delivery is discipline and responsibility, imtaq knowledge, confidence, communicative, social care, honesty, hard work, curiosity, national spirit, and fondness to read.
