        abstract = {The cafe library is an innovations that combines the concepts of library and cafe. Mainmain cafe library is one of the cafes that combines this concept by providing books that cafe visitors can read.This research aimed to describe what promotion are used to promote the library cafe at the Mainmain Cafe Bantul Yogyakarta. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The technique used in data collection is by observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of this study indicate that the promotion carried out in promoting the library cafe at the Mainmain Cafe is by using social media as a promotion media, procuring events or activities carried out such as book reviews and book readings or recitations. The obstacles experienced in carrying out promotions are that the scope of the promotion is not wide enough, the library facilities are inadequate, and the visitors' lack of initiative to take advantage of the library at the Mainmain Cafe.}
