Selain itu citra buruk tentang pondok pesantren perlu\r\ndiluruskan dengan informasi yang tepat. Maka perlu adanya pemasaran untuk\r\nmengimbangi persaingan yang ada sekaligus menjadi bentuk komunikasi pondok\r\npesantren dengan masyarakat.\r\nPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami strategi\r\npemasaran Pondok Pesantren Nurul Ummah di era 4.0 ditinjau melalui\r\npendekatan blue ocean strategy serta rintangan apa saja yang dihadapi. Manfaat\r\npenelitian ini untuk menambah wawasan dan informasi terkait strategi pemasaran\r\ndan pendekatan blue ocean strategy yang digunakan. Metode yang digunakan\r\ndalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik\r\npengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Proses\r\nanalisis data melalui transcript, coding, grouping, comparing dan contrasting.\r\nTeknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber.\r\nHasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) strategi pemasaran Pondok\r\nPesantren Nurul Ummah di era 4.0 yang ditinjau melalui blue ocean strategy\r\nyakni dengan menetapkan inovasi nilai. Inovasi nilai berupa Tim Admisi dimana\r\ntim ini sudah berorientasi pada pemanfaatan era 4.0. Langkah kedua, membuat\r\nkanvas strategi untuk mengetahui pasar yang dihadapi. Ketiga, membuat kerangka\r\nkerja empat langkah (hapuskan-kurangi-tingkatkan-ciptakan) untuk bahan\r\nimplementasi.
