N2  - The case of HIV and AIDS until this research was made is still quite scary with the increasing number of infections that attack the adolescent age group. This trend shift has been traced at least since the last three years. It takes many parties in the form of cooperation to overcome the transmission of this virus. This research focuses on the area of strategic communication, which aims to explore strategic communication designed by the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province AIDS Commission (KPA DIY). In addition, on the scope of the focus of prevention efforts on adolescents, this study also tries to discuss the extent of the involvement of Islamic religious leaders in it. Using the ACADA model adapted from WHO, this study was conducted using a qualitative approach. Through data collection in the form of documentation and interviews, it was found the data discussed in chapter three.
The findings of this study indicate that the program designed by KPA DIY is quite good in reaching various key populations and vulnerable groups. Here it can be clarified that KPA DIY in the formulation of prevention designs requires support from many parties, including budgets so that programs can be made with a focus on certain vulnerable groups without mixing them with other groups. Meanwhile, this study did not find the involvement of Islamic religious leaders in program design, but only involved in program implementation, even though they had a minimal role. Implications and recommendations are discussed.
