This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this study consisted of 7 (seven) informants who mastered the research field. The object of this research is the Ngawi Regency Library and Archives Service. Data taken in this study through observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation related to research. The to test the validity of the data using the triangulation method of technique, source and time. The result of the study indicate that leadership style of women in the Library and Archives Service of Ngawi Regency applies the trait theory leadership style.This can be seen from the suitability of the librarian?s leadership style with trait theory leadership indicators. This indicator includes 8 (eight) sections, namely: intelligence, task-relevant knowledge, dominance, selft-cofidence, energy, tolerance for stress, integrity and honesty, dan emotional maturity. The success of the trait theory leadership style has a positive impact on the Ngawi Regency Library and Archives Service. With good and professional leadership qualities, the head of the library can embrace the librarians and staff so that kinship and cohesivenss in the realm of the work environment can be harmoniously established. Then activities or events at the Ngawi Regency Library and Archives Service can be carried out and run smoothly.} }
