The translation includes Arabic grammatical symbols, one of its distinguishing characteristics. Consequently, this study aims to describe and classify variations in the types of translation products produced in Islamic boarding schools and evaluate the quality of the translation outcomes, focusing on the presence of Arabic grammatical symbols in translations produced. This library research is descriptive-analytical-qualitative. Along with the instrument, the data collection method includes documentation in the form of a checklist sheet. The data are taken from translation products (books) that serve as data sources. Using inductive descriptive analysis and Miles and Huberman's theory, the data were analyzed qualitatively through: data collection, data display, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The research shows that (1) There are four types of translation products available in Islamic boarding schools: (a) translations of the vowel-marked text using Arabic pegon without gandul and without the Arabic grammatical symbols accompanied by mur?d or explanations; (b) translations of vowel-marked text using Arabic pegon gandul with no grammatical symbols and without mur?d; and (c) translations of the vowel-marked text using Arabic pegon gandul without the grammatical symbols accompanied by mur?d; and (d) translations of no-vowel-marked text using Arabic pegon gandul with Arabic grammatical symbols and without mur?d (2) In terms of accuracy (accurate), readability (readable), and acceptability (natural), the first type of translation has accurate quality, high readability, and acceptance; the second has accurate quality, high legibility, and is slightly less acceptable; the third shows accurate quality, moderate readability, and is slightly less acceptable; and the last has less accurate quality, moderate readability, and is slightly less acceptable. (3) The uniqueness of the translation product of Islamic boarding school Arabic books compared to other translation products is the presence of Arabic grammatical symbols included in the translation which have several functions, namely: helping to know the position of a word in a sentence, making it easier to read Arabic text correctly, helping to interpret the intended meaning of an Arabic sentence correctly, and making translation easier, effective and productive.
