To prove the hypothesis, this research will be focused on analyzing the implementation of the concept of social entrepreneurship based on Islamic values in Al-Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School, Purwakarta, West Java. The aims of this study are to analyse and develop the implementation of the concept of empowering social entrepreneurship based on Islamic values in Islamic boarding schools, the constraints faced and strategies undertaken, as well as discovering the model of empowering social entrepreneurship based on Islamic values through a case study at Al-Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School, Purwakarta, West Java, and its implication on community economic empowerment. The type of the research is a qualitative research. This research uses descriptive-analytical method and interdisciplinary approach. Primary and secondary data sources were obtained from observation and interview with the informants and a study of documentation and number of literatures related with the model of empowering social entrepreneurship based on Islamic values and its implication on community economic empowerment at Al-Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School, Purwakarta, West Java. The data collection techniques were obtained from observation, interview, documentation and book review. Analysis of the data is done deductively. The theoretical framework used is the theory of Islamic boarding school, social capital, social entrepreneurship, and community economic empowerment. This research concludes: (1) the concept of social entrepreneurship has been implemented very well at the Al-Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School, Purwakarta, West Java, although it is still faced with internal and external obstacles; (2) the main obstacles faced in developing social entrepreneurship in Al-Muhajirin Islamic boarding school are the ability to develop entrepreneurial education innovations and business practices among teachers and students. Meanwhile, the strategy is to implement various training, coaching, development, and economic empowerment programs; (3) core values, dreams values, and mission values are the three main foundations for realizing a social entrepreneur model based on Islamic values in economic empowerment at the Al-Muhajirin Islamic boarding school, Purwakarta; and (4) based on all its advantages and disadvantages, Al-Muhajirin Islamic boarding school Purwakarta can be said to be one of the Islamic boarding schools that has implemented the concept of social entrepreneurship and core business based on Islamic values, and also has made a positive contribution to community economic empowerment. This research has also strengthened the hypothesis and developed the results of previous studies regarding on the implementation of the concept of social entrepreneurship in Islamic boarding schools.
