"sah Aliyah Al-Imdad, Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah,\r\nand SMAIT Abu Bakar, have its own uniqueness. Those three Islamic\r\neducational institutions focus on Islamic teaching. However, the unique\r\nthing is that the three educational institutions come from different Islamic\r\norganizations with various ideologies.\r\nThere are three statements of the problem to be answered in this\r\nstudy. First, how the typology of Islamic education ideology at Madrasah\r\nAliyah Al-Imdad Yogyakarta, Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah\r\nYogyakarta and SMAIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta? Second, how the\r\nformation of the ideology of Islamic education in the three Islamic\r\neducational institutions? Third, what are the implications of the religious\r\nattitudes of students in the three Islamic educational institutions with their\r\neducational ideology?\r\nThis research is qualitative research with a pedagogical,\r\nphenomenological, naturalistic approach using the educational ideologies\r\ntheory of William F O’Neill and the Islamic movement. The research was\r\nconducted at three Islamic educational institutions, Madrasah Aliyah Al-\r\nImdad Yogyakarta, Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta\r\nand SMAIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta. Informants in this study were:\r\nprincipals, teachers and school students. Subjects were determined by\r\npurposive sampling and snowball. Data retrieval is completed when the\r\ndata has reached saturation quality and does not show newness anymore.\r\nThe data obtained through recording, observation, and in-depth interviews\r\nwere then processed and analyzed by developing an interpretation of the\r\nmeaning of the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data\r\ndisplay and data verification.\r\nThe results showed that the educational institutions of Madrasah\r\nAliyah Unggulan Al-Imdad Yogyakarta, Madrasah Mu’allimin\r\nMuhammadiyah Yogyakarta, and SMAIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta are\r\nthree school platforms in Yogyakarta founded by Islamic organizations\r\nwith different ideologies. The ideology of Islamic education at the three\r\ninstitutions is a conservative educational ideology that is different in\r\ntype. The ideology is thought through reference books, and idol figures\r\nwith similar religious backgrounds in school agendas and special forums.\r\nThe religious attitudes of the three Islamic educational institutions are\r\nquite diverse based on their Islamic style. Madrasah Aliyah Al-Imdad\r\nYogyakarta has a substantial-traditionalist style and religious attitude.\r\nMadrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta has a substantialmodernist\r\nstyle and religious attitude.
