Likewise with the Rembang Regency BAZNAS, in dealing with Covid-19 it also collects and distributes zakat, but in the distribution during the Covid-19 pandemic it is different from the distribution that is usually regulated by legislation. This research is in the form of field research with the research subject being the Rembang City BAZNAS with its programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. And the object of the research is the people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the city of Rembang. To assess the role of BAZNAS, a role theory (role theory) and integrated social theory (integrated social theory) are used. Difficult conditions, especially during a pandemic, can lead to crime to meet daily needs, especially food needs. Utilization of zakat assets, infaq, alms for the handling of the Covid-19 outbreak, zakat contains several provisions, namely the distribution of productive zakat in cash or goods to stimulate socio-economic activities of the poor affected by Covid-19. Another stipulation is utilization which is realized in the form of managed assets or services for the public benefit and prioritizes mustahiq, for example basic needs, provision of PPE, disinfectants and medicines needed by volunteers in charge of handling Covid-19.
