abstract: The purpose of this study is to know what the implication of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic are on increasing digital literacy for students of the Library Science program, Faculty of Adab and Cultural Studies, State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta batch 2019. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection method in this study using interview, observation and documentation. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling and the observation using passive observation. The data analysis method used in this study is Miles and Hubberman method with data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The validity test of the data in this study is the credibility test in the form of extended observations and increased persistence, triangulation, member check and confirmability tests. The result of this study are 1. The online learning conducted by the Library Science study program is good with the support of the university and students. 2. Library Science are able to access, understand, explore and evaluate content and information in the internet properly and critically. 3. Online learning carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact in the form of increasing student digital literacy. Students who are used to online learning who must use digital technology with various devices and supporting applications make students more familiar with the digital world.
