The variables in this study were pet attachment and loneliness. This is a quantitative correlation research. There were 114 subjects who were selected using purposive sampling technique based on the criteria of individuals aged 18- 35 years, keeping cats and living in Brebes Regency. Data collection using Lexington Attachment to Pet Scale and UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3. The analysis technique using Pearson Product Moment showed that there was a negative relationship between pet attachment and loneliness in cat owner in Brebes Regency (r= -0.268; p=0.004; p<0.05). The higher level of pet attachment between the cat owner and their cat, the lower level of loneliness felt by the cat owner.
