Psychologically, marriages performed at an early age are considered not ready to go through a household which of course is not easy for an immature ana to live. Likewise, juridically, the Marriage Law has set an age limit for someone who wants to perform a marriage, which is 19 years old. The rise of early marriage in Waru sub-district has become a fairly complicated homework for KUA Waru Religious Extension Officers, because the role of religious extension workers to minimize the number of early marriages is still stagnant, this can be evidenced by the high number of early marriages that occur every year Based on the above, this research is based on two questions, namely: how is the sociology of Islamic law review of the role of religious extension workers in minimizing early marriage in the Waru District Kua, and how is the sociology of Islamic law review of the factors causing the high rate of early marriage in Waru district? Both questions will be analyzed using the sociological theory of Islamic law This type of research is field research conducted at KUA Waru, Pamekasan Regency. This research is descriptive-analytical with a legal sociology approach that aims to understand the phenomena experienced by the research subject such as behavior, perception, motivation, action and so on holistically and by means of descriptions in the form of words and language. The methods used in this study were interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the role of Religious Extension Workers in minimizing early marriage in Waru sub-district was by conducting socialization to the community. The socialization carried out by religious extension workers according to the sociology of Islamic law is one of the methods of counseling in the Qur'an, namely lectures, mujadalah and discussions. The socialization and discussion carried out by kua Waru religious extension workers is a way to reduce the number of early marriages in Waru sub-district, and this is also part of the duties of religious extension workers regulated in the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia number 516 of 2003 concerning Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Functional Extension Positions. The factors causing the high level of early marriage in Waru sub-district are self-will factors, promiscuity, educational factors, economic factors, and parental factors.} }
