N2  - The COVID-19 pandemic has changed people's habits in their activities.
The increasingly uncontrolled spread of the virus has caused the government to
issue policies to minimize and stop the spread of COVID-19. Some government
policies lead to reduced interaction, thereby weakening solidarity in society,
therefore it is important to know the community's strategy in maintaining
solidarity. This study was conducted to determine the solidarity of the
Karanganyar hamlet community during the COVID-19 pandemic and the factors
that influence this solidarity. The study used descriptive qualitative methods
involving 9 informants. Research data were collected through observation,
interviews and documentation. The results show that the Karanganyar Hamlet
community still maintains solidarity and maintains moral values and noble culture
through mutual cooperation despite the Covid-19 pandemic. The factors that can
maintain and maintain the solidarity of the Karanganyar Hamlet community are
socio-cultural, religious, and government support, while the factors that hinder the
community solidarity of Karanganyar Hamlet are economic factors.
