N2 - In a country with a strong patriarchal culture, women often bear the double burden.
They are required to work for a living while doing most of the domestic tasks. To help women who
carry multiple burdens, the provision of sufficient work autonomy and work from home
arrangements is expected to enable them to achieve work-life balance.
The importance of this study is to find out whether the Work From Home variable has a
moderating effect on the relationship between Work Autonomy and Work-Life Balance on married
female teachers. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with sampling using
accidental sampling techniques and succeeded in collecting 159 subjects. The data analysis
technique used is sub-group regression analysis with the chow technique..
The results showed that the work from home variable had no moderating effect on the
relationship between work autonomy and work-life balance. The results of the Chow test showed
that the calculated F value was 0.765 and the F table value was 3.063. Because the calculated F
value < F table value, the regression equation between the WFH and Non-WFH observation
subgroups did not differ significantly so that the WFH variable was not a moderating variable.
Meanwhile, from the results of the Karl Pearson correlation test, it was found that the
significance value between work autonomy and Work- Life Balance was 0.000 (<0.05) and the
Pearson correlations value obtained was 0.542 so that there was a significant positive relationship
between work autonomy and Work-Life Balance.
