description: The use of online games occurs a lot among college students. Among various factors, self-regulation and peer social support are important factors for the intensity of online game use in college students. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulation and peer social support with the intensity of online game use in students. The subject of this study was an active students of X University who played online games. The samples in this study were 133 subjects with an age range of 19-24 years which were taken based on quota sampling techniques. The research data were collected by using the Online Game Usage Intensity Scale, the Self-Regulation Scale and the Peer Social Support Scale. The data analysis technique author used is a multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the statistical software Jamovi 2.2.5. Based on the results of the analysis test, it shows that the major hypothesis is accepted, self-regulation and peer social support simultaneously have a relationship with the intensity of online game use in college students. The results of the minor hypothesis test showed a negative relationship between self-regulation and the intensity of online game use in college students and there was no relationship between peer social support and the intensity of online game use in college students. Self-regulation and peer social support together contributed 19.9% to the intensity of online game use. Self-regulation contributed 18.3% to the intensity of online game use and peer social support contributed 1.6% to the intensity of online game use. Furthermore, additional analysis showed that there was a difference in the intensity of online game use in college students between male and female students.
