On the other hand, education among Muslims is also struggling with the problem of unpreparedness to face the modern era and the progress of the times. The purpose of this research is to describe the interpretation of moderate Islamic values and progressive education at the Bumi Shalawat Islamic Boarding School, the form of its implementation, and its integration. This research is qualitative, namely research that maximizes informants as research subjects. The type of research used is included in the field research category where researchers go directly to the field to find out the process of implementing and integrating moderate Islamic values and progressive education at Pondok Pesantren Bumi Shalawat Sidoarjo. The techniques used for data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. While the triangulation technique is used to check the validity of the data. The results of the existing research show: (1) the interpretation of moderate Islamic values at the Bumi Shalawat Islamic Boarding School includes (a) precision positioning, (b) alignment of reason and textual sources, (c) pious spiritual-social piety, (d) respect for differences, (d) love for the homeland, (f) shura, while the interpretation of progressive education is closely related to (a) orientation to the progress of the times, (b) the concept of learning is more flexible, (c) student-centered, (d) prioritizing practice and skills, (e) community miniature. (2) the implementation of moderate Islamic values through (a) academic programs, (b) exemplary, (c) practice, (d) habituation, (e) cross-madzhab learning, (f) monitoring, while the implementation of progressive education through (a) majors and specializations (b) progressive skills development programs and extracurriculars, (c) scientific papers, (d) outdoor learning and community service, (e) SKS program (f) international class program (g) active and interactive learning. (3) integration between moderate Islamic values and progressive education is carried out through (a) systems, (b) curriculum and (c) teaching and learning processes.} }
