The purpose of this study was to see how the implementation of strategic management in MAN 2 Klaten and what impact it had on the quality of madrasa education. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Klaten between October 2021 and February 2022. Observations, interviews, and documentation were used to obtain data. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing are all used in data analysis. Triangulation approaches, such as source triangulation and theoretical triangulation, are used to perform data validity techniques. The research findings are as follows: first, strategic management is carried out in four stages: environmental observation, strategy making, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. The environmental observation process is carried out using SWOT analysis, the strategy formulation process is carried out by developing a vision and mission, conducting short, Medium, and long term planning, and identifying superior strategies, and the strategy implementation process is carried out by setting policies, motivating education and education staff, allocate resources (HR), and build a madrasa culture. At MAN 2 Klaten, strategy evaluation includes tracking the results of strategic planning and implementation, assessing madrasah and individual performance, and taking corrective actions. Second, in the implementation of strategic management, the head of the madrasah plays an important role in collaborating with related parties. These tasks are designed to ensure the implementation runs smoothly, efficiently, and according to plan. The implications of strategic management in improving the quality of education at MAN 2 Klaten have a good impact on the quality of madrasas in general. The implications of this research have an impact on the physical dimension, namely the facilities and infrastructure to be more adequate, on the reliability dimension, namely MAN 2 Klaten providing services to students adequately, on the durability dimension, namely the formation of Madrasa culture in MAN 2 Klaten, namely professionalism, discipline, and responsibility. responsibility on the dimension of assurance that teachers and employees become more professional, on the dimension of empathy, namely that every teacher and employee is encouraged to always be sensitive and understand the needs of students. %K Manajemen Strategik, Peningkatan Mutu, Mutu Madrasah %D 2022 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib55135
