description: Poor emotional management in children have an impact on several things, include aggressiveness. Some of the factors that cause aggressiveness is media factors and family environment. Meanwhile, this study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of gadget and the tendency of permissive parenting with aggressiveness in early childhood. The subjects in this study were 108 with the criteria of parents having early childhood (1-6 years) in Magelang Regency, which were obtained through accidental sampling technique. Data was collected using three types of measuring instruments, namely the aggressiveness scale, the intensity scale of gadget and the permissive parenting scale. Data analysis using multiple regression techniques through the SPSS application. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive relationship between the intensity of using gadgets on aggressiveness with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05); effective contribution of 33.4%; 2) there is a positive relationship between the tendency of permissive parenting to aggressiveness with a significance value of 0.004 (<0.05); the effective contribution value is 5.1%; 3) there is a joint positive relationship between the intensity of gadget and the tendency of permissive parenting to aggressiveness in early childhood with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05); the effective contribution value is 38.5%; 61.5% of them are influenced by other factors, namely biological factors, genetics, social learning factors, chemical factors, etc.
