YOGYAKARTA %U https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/55626/ %X Plagiarism behavior which is part of academic dishonesty still becomes a problem among college students. This study aims to determine the role of self-control and academic self-efficacy on plagiarism behavior of college students in D.I. Yogyakarta. The subjects in this study were college students who currently studying at universities in D.I. Yogyakarta. This study used quantitative methods with three variables. The data was obtained using the self- control scale, academic self-efficacy scale, and plagiarism scale. The sample in this study was taken using a non-probability sampling technique, namely snow ball sampling. While the minimum sample size is determined by G*Power, where the minimum sample size is 127. The data was then analyzed using multiple regression analysis test. The results showed that there was a negative correlation between self-control and self-efficacy with plagiarism behavior. The significance level of self-control is 0.000 with a correlation coefficient of -0.525. As for the academic self- efficacy, the significance level is 0.025 with a correlation coefficient of -0.182. The effective contribution of self-control and academic self-efficacy to plagiarism is 28.3%. The implication of the result indicates that it is to encourage college student to improve their self-control and academic self-efficacy in order to minimize the possibility of plagiarism behavior. %Z Pembimbing: Sabiqotul Husna, S.Psi., M.Sc
