The problems studied in this study are regarding how Rahma.id discusses gender issues regarding women's leadership and answers whether the trait leadership theory is relevant to women's leadership. This research is a qualitative research using the Norman Fairclough model approach as a data analysis tool. Researchers analyzed 3 articles associated with mapping gender issues based on groups according to Alimatul Qibtiyah, media hegemony theory and trait leadership theory The results of the study show that Rahma.Id in describing the issue of women's leadership Rahma.id by producing progressive content. In terms of discourse on leadership, apart from obtaining from the process of media formation which wants its management to be led by women, in terms of narrative articles discussing women's leadership in accordance with the trait theory of leadership that women's leadership has qualified mental, physical and social characteristics so that it makes them The superior ones include intelligence, self-confidence, perseverance, integrity and sociability and other characteristics so as to make women leaders. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. Mohammad Zamroni, S.Sos.I.,M.Si
