        abstract = {In addition to being able to increase public knowledge about events on
television, the presence of new media such as Youtube which supports the
dissemination of various information presentations from television media also
adds to other challenges such as the opportunity for message meaning to be multiinterpretation
to cause conflict if the show is caught one-sided or unfair and
ambiguous in message delivery. Especially if the creator of the content or event
involves a judge as the host of the show, it must be presented in a balanced and
fair manner considering the conditions of a multicultural society. The only
television show involving a well-known judge or lawyer is the talk show Hotman
Paris Show with Hotman Paris as a host known for his wise attitude and bearing.
With a qualitative method, the researcher then analyzed the message of
religious moderation in the video interview of Deddy Corbuzier on the Hotman
Paris Show youtube channel using John Fiske's semiotic analysis technique which
includes three levels of stages / code, namely reality / appearance, representation,
and ideology to find out the meaning of the message based on codes in television.
From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there are several
messages of religious moderation that contain depictions of justice, balance, and
tolerance to create peace between religious people for the sake of the unity of the
nation and state.}
