abstract: The problem that often arises in our society is to whom should zakat be given.
More importantly, it is channeled directly by muzakki to mustahiq, or vice versa
through amil zakat. Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam that must be paid for the
assets owned by a person when he has reached his nishab. Zakat has great potential
to overcome economic problems, namely poverty. This study aims to determine the
effect of zakat knowledge, income level, service quality, and trust to zakat
management organizations on the interest of muzakki in paying zakat at the
Goedang Al-Khairaat amil zakat institution. The population in this study was
Muzakki Goedang Al-Khairaat Yogyakarta, the number of samples in this study was
75 respondents, The sampling technique in this study was carried out using a
random sample (probability sampling). Data was collected through questionnaires
and the analytical method used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis
with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics software version 20. The results of the study
indicate that the variable knowledge of zakat, income level, service quality, and trus
has a positive effect on the interest of muzakki in paying zakat at the Goedang Al-
Khairaat amil zakat institution, Yogyakarta.
