Banking as the most important financial sector in the country's economy has also been affected by the spread of this virus. This study aims to examine the determinants of Islamic banks internal and external factors on the resilience of Islamic banking as reflected in the Non-Performing Financing (NPF) ratio during the economic crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia and Malaysia. The sample used in this study is quarterly data on 26 Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia with multiple regression testing methods. The results of statistical tests show that the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and inflation have a significant positive effect on the NPF. While Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and bank size have a negative effect. The exchange rate and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) variables proved to have no effect on the NPF of Indonesian and Malaysian Islamic banks during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the robustness test show a consistent relationship with the main research model, so it can be concluded that the research model is robust and valid.
