However, in the trade balance there are problems that are difficult to overcome, namely the value of exports is smaller than the value of imports. So, proper procedures are needed to deal with the problems that trigger the trade sector. The research carried out aims to understand the estimated influence of inflation, exchange rate, Foreign Direct Investment, GDP per capita, and energy consumption, on the trade balance in the GCC countries in 2002-2021. Sources of data obtained from the publications of the World Bank, Trade Map dan OIC Statistics Sesric. The analytical method used is the panel data regression method fixed-effects model approach with a SUR cross-section weighted. Based on the research conducted, three results were obtained, namely the first, there was no effect between the energy consumption on the trade balance, then, second, there was a positive significant effect between exchange rate, GDP per capita and FDI on the trade balance, and finally, there was a negative significant effect between CPI and the trade balance. Efforts are needed from the government so that companies in the trade sector have the enthusiasm to continue to compete with their competitors so that economic stability will be created, increased exports and can increase the attractiveness of investors. In addition, the government needs to maintain transaction activities to remain stable in the scope of international trade by ensuring that exchange rates with foreign currencies remain stable.
