"This study aims to: 1) explain what factors cause grade V students of SDN\r\n1 Jenggik Utara to be addicted to playing online games of the type of Mobile\r\nLegend: Bang Bang. 2) identify the impact of addiction to playing the Mobile\r\nLegend: Bang Bang game on the social attitudes of grade V students of SDN 1\r\nJenggik Utara\r\nThis type of research is descriptive qualitative. In this research process,\r\nresearchers are involved themselves in the collection of research data. The\r\nsubjects of this study were class V teachers and class V students of SDN 1\r\nJenggik Utara East Lombok, totaling 37 students consisting of 17 women and 20\r\nmen. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation,\r\ninterviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by researchers by\r\nmeans of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Validation\r\nor validity of data with source triangulation, engineering triangulation and time\r\ntriangulation.\r\nThis study produced two conclusions, namely: 1) The factors that cause\r\nstudents of SDN 1 Jenggik Utara to become addicted to playing games are divided\r\ninto two parts, namely internal factors and external factors. Where these internal\r\nfactors such as the preoccupation with playing online games make students forget\r\nabout other activities. Students are willing to lie in order to still be able to play\r\nonline games. Students' loss of interest in activities outside of online games. The\r\nstudent begins to withdraw from others who are in his real life. Some students\r\nbecame defensive and grumpy. Disruption of the psychological state of the\r\nstudent (such as changes in the mood of feelings, anxiety). Frequent use of the\r\ngame as an escape from trouble. Meanwhile, external factors such as surrounding\r\nassociations that can influence students to become addicted to playing online\r\ngames. Prizes from the competition are also one of the factors to be persistent in\r\nlearning online games because in order to get these prizes. The ideal of becoming\r\na pro player also includes external factors that affect the addiction to playing\r\nonline games. 2) The impact of addiction on students' social attitudes includes the\r\nlack of honesty that exists in the three students due to too much focus on playing\r\nexcessive online games. The three students lacked discipline to come to school\r\nbecause they stayed up late playing online games until late at night. The average\r\nstudent can already be responsible even though there are some students who still\r\nfind it difficult to be on time when completing the assigned tasks. The lack of\r\npoliteness to the speech of some students due to a less supportive environment. A\r\nhigh caring attitude is ingrained in students because of playing online games.
