"The low reading interest of elementary school children is a problem that\r\noccurs today. This is due to several factors, namely the lack of places to carry out\r\naffordable reading activities, lack of examples from the environment, lack of\r\nteacher assistance to students in literacy and not optimal teacher appreciation and\r\nassessment of students in improving reading skills and no evaluation of the\r\nimplementation of program activities that are more good. So that the impact on\r\nstudents does not increase because they cannot read. The rapid development of the\r\ncurrent era, especially in technological developments, has made the learning\r\nprocess even more advanced, including increasing interest in reading. With these\r\ntechnological advances, teachers can easily increase students' interest in reading by\r\nusing accessible tools, such as digital reading corners.\r\nThis study uses the R&D (Research and Development) research method\r\ndeveloped by Robert Maribe Brach using five stages, namely: Analysis, Design,\r\nDevelopment, Implementation, Evaluation. This research was conducted at SD\r\nNegeri Ringinsari with the research target of class III students, totaling 26 students.\r\nInstruments and data collection in this study used data from the assessment of\r\ndesign experts, linguists, teacher assessment and pre-test and post-test.\r\nThis research resulted in the concept of a digital reading corner, which was\r\nconsidered very feasible to use to increase students' reading demand in elementary\r\nschools. This can be seen based on the assessment carried out by the validation of\r\ninstrument experts, namely design experts, linguists, and teacher response\r\nassessments. This digital reading corner obtained feasibility in design validation of\r\n94%, language validation with 94% results, and teacher assessment results obtained\r\n98%. This digital reading corner serves users to read with several applications in it,\r\nso users can choose which application to use to meet their needs. These applications\r\nare the iPusnas application, the Wattpad application, the Google Play Books\r\napplication, the Nook application and the Amazon Kindle application.\r\nAn increase in reading interest can be seen based on the results of the pretest\r\nand post-test of class III students of SD Negeri Ringinsari.results The pre-test\r\nwere 30.42 and there was an increase in the post-test, which were 39.50, which\r\nmeans that this digital reading corner has an effect on increasing reading interest in\r\nclass III students of SD Negeri Ringinsari.
