M.Pd abstract: This research was motivated by the researcher's anxiety about the teaching materials used when learning subjects Indonesian the story material of grade IV children at MI Al-Huda Karangnongko was less varied. In the observation activities carried out on the teaching materials used, namely in the form of teacher books and student books only, so that there are some students with low levels of critical thinking ability. This development research aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the use of digital comic teaching materials on critical thinking skills development (Research and Development) this research design using the ADDIE model developed by Robert Maribe Brach which consists of five stages, namely Analysis (analysis) Design (design), Development (development), Implementation (application) and Evaluation (evaluation). The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and questionnaires from media experts, material experts, linguists, teacher assessments. Data analysis techniques use Ngain values. The results of this study show that the development of teaching materials produces a digital-based comic teaching material product, especially in class IV children's story material in the form of a website link. The results of the effectiveness test of using digital-based comic teaching materials to improve students' critical thinking skills based on prettest and posttes showed that as many as 19 students got (g) > 0.7 or high category, while students who scored 0.3 ≤ (g)≥ 0.7 or categorized as moderate were 7 students, and students who got a score (g) < 0.3 or a low category of 0 or no student who got a low score.
