SEBAGAI ZAT WARNA ALAMI BATIK MENGGUNAKAN FIKSATOR JERUK NIPIS (Citrus aurantifolia) %X Research on cherry leaves as a natural dye for batik using a lime fixator has been carried out. This study aims to determine the amount of tannin content obtained, the stability of dyestuffs in cherry leaf extract to the effect of heating temperature and storage time, and the resistance of natural dyestuff in cherry leaves to batik cloth, which includes a fastness test against dry and wet rubbing. Cherry leaf extract was obtained using 96% ethanol as solvent by maceration extraction method. Furthermore, stability tests were carried out on temperature variations, namely at 30; 40; and 60oC, and on variations in storage time, namely at 0; 2; 6; and 7 days. The stability of the natural dyestuff of cherry leaves is at a temperature of 30oC (room temperature) and on day 0. The color fastness based on the dry rub test is generally 5 (very good). Then the color fastness to the wet rub test is generally 4-5 (good). Based on this research, it can be concluded that cherry leaves can be used as a natural dye, and the concentration of the fixator does not affect the color fastness of the fabric. %K batik; cherry leaves; maceration; tannin; lime; stability test %D 2022 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib56154
