The form of service provided by farmer groups to their members is to receive the harvest of palm fruit and send it to the crude oil processing factory. To get abundant results, farmers are given education about fertilization by experts. The experts brought in came from PT, BUMDES, and the Plantation Service. Problems that occur when the required expert is busy. To make it easier for farmers to determine fertilizer, the researchers designed a system that can help with this problem. A suitable system is an expert system, where an expert system is a system that seeks to adopt expert knowledge to a computer designed to model the ability to solve problems like an expert. Problems that occur can be handled using the Forward Chaining method. The Forward Chaining method is a method from the Inference Engine to start reasoning or tracking data from facts that will produce a conclusion. In addition to using the Forward Chaining , this system also uses the Certainty Factor which is used to measure the certainty number of the conclusions obtained. The results of the consultation (diagnosis) in the form of fertilizer needed by the land and plants are accompanied by a Certainty Factor to indicate the level of truth, accuracy of the symptoms that occur.
