Ag}, keywords = {Islamic Boarding School; management; social transformation; social transformation}, url = {https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/56453/}, abstract = {This research was carried out at the Joglo Alit Islamic Boarding School because of the interest of researchers in the Joglo Alit Islamic Boarding School where this non-formal educational institution continues to carry out social transformation around the Joglo Alit Islamic Boarding School environment so that the Karangdukuh village has undergone many changes from time to time, so with the implementation of this research, This study aims to find out (1) How is the social transformation that occurs in Karangdukuh village, (2) How is the role of Joglo Alit boarding school in managing social transformation that occurs in Karangdukuh village, (3) What are the challenges faced by Joglo Alit pesantren in managing social transformation and how the solution from the Joglo Alit pesantren. The research carried out by the researcher is a type of qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique carried out by the researcher is using data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions/verification, while the data validity technique uses triangulation. The results of this study found that the social transformation that occurred in Karangdukuh village was firstly the social transformation of the farming community out of the industrial vortex, secondly the transformation of the education culture of the Karangdukuh village community which previously only relied on formal schools in the morning turned towards populist education, thirdly namely, as well as maintaining agrarian culture in the form of cultural restoration. Joglo Alit Islamic Boarding School manages social transformation in Karangdukuh village with a planning approach, which means Joglo Alit Islamic Boarding School carries out social transformation planning according to the needs of the Karangdukuh village community. The challenges in managing social transformation are firstly the gap in the Karangdukuh village community, secondly the ignorance of village knowledge as to law and government administration, thirdly the counterattack from village leeches.} }
