This research is Research and Development or R&D research. This development method uses a 4-D model, which includes (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Disseminate. This research is limited to the develop stage, namely limited trials and wider trials. The subjects in this study were students of class XII MIPA 1 SMA N 5 Yogyakarta using data analysis techniques through observation, interviews, document analyisis, and questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were instrument and product validation sheets, e-modul quality assessment sheets, and student response sheets. Meanwhile, the assessment of the quality of the multirepresentation based-learning e-module using Likert with scale of 4 and student responses using the Guttman scale in the form of a checklist. The result of this research is a multirepresentation based-learning e-module on thermodynamic material. The quality of learning e-module based on the material expert and media expert appraiser has a very good category (SB) with a mean score of several aspects, respectively 3,38 and 3,28, and the physics teacher assessmeny has a very good category (SB) with a mean score 3,3.
