Y1 - 2022/08/30/ N2 - The COVID-19 pandemi is a new phenomenon in the world. So that various groups in the world of education are also trying new things to keep education going and the learning process running effectively. In this regard, to improve the quality of learning activities, especially Arabic learning in Indonesia, it is necessary to study various methods of learning foreign languages during the pandemi from various sources, as a reference for improving Arabic learning methods in Indonesia. This type of research is a literature study or library research, so this method digs up data from written materials (especially in the form of theories), namely researching books or magazines, and so on that have something to do with the problems studied in this case the researcher uses primary and secondary data sources, namely data obtained from sources containing the information or data. The results of this study are that learning Arabic with the scaffolding method begins with the teacher greeting the students then the teacher checks the learning outcomes to determine the level of student development, then after that the teacher divides the group. The division of this group is based on the level of initial development that students have, then the teacher presents learning assignments in stages while still providing explanations, warnings, encouragement and problem solving. Then the teacher reduces the support or assistance and allows students to complete the task independently. Learning Arabic using the interactive chat method is carried out without direct meetings between teachers and students but using digital applications that are connected to the internet network.
