M.Pd. abstract: This research was motivated by the lack of HOTS-based assessment at MIS Al Islamiyah Lumbang South Kalimantan, especially Fikih learning in Grade 4, so there is no assessment that can measure students' HOTS abilities, both ability to analyze, assess and create. The problem studied in this study is first, How is the construction of a HOTS-based assessment of the realm of knowledge in the learning of Fikih grade 4 at MIS Al Islamiyah Lumbang, South Kalimantan. Second, how is the feasibility of hots-based assessment of the realm of knowledge in the learning of Fikih grade 4 at MIS Al Islamiyah Lumbang South Kalimantan. Third, how is the effectiveness of HOTS-based assessments in the realm of knowledge in learning Fikih grade 4 MIS Al Islamiah Lumbang South Kalimantan. This research is a research with the type of R And D (Research and Development) developed by Burg and Gall. The data sources in this study were obtained from students, teachers, and principals. The sample in this study was a grade 4 student of MIS Al Islamiyah Lumbang South Kalimantan, how to collect data using interview questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results obtained in this study are first, validation is formed from language validation with a value of 90.75%, assessment validation of 85.5%, material validation of 72%, and instrument practicality of 87.33% Secondly, there are 18 questions that are declared valid.
