This study is a quantitative research. The population in this study is FISIPOL Gadjah Mada University freshman year 2010/2011, with restrictions on the object of educational activities at the library FISIPOL Gadjah Mada University in 2010 numbering 651, and the sample taken is 65 students. Data collection techniques is by questionnaire. The test instrument was held on 40 students of FISIPOL Gadjah Mada University force 2008/2009. Test the validity of the instrument was done by using Pearson product moment correlation and reliability testing of the instruments used Cronbach alpha formula. Data analysis techniques using statistical methods of quantitative analysis by quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study showed effectiveness of the Library User Education Activities for 4.24 are included in both categories.
