Inequality is evidence of the failure of the concept of development. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence inequality of income distribution in districts/cities in North Kalimantan in 2013-2020. The data used is secondary data taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The data is processed by panel data regression analysis with the best model, namely the fixed effect model. The results of the analysis of this study concluded that the variables Gross Regional Domestic Product and Open Unemployment Rate did not affect income distribution inequality. While the Human Development Index variable has a positive and significant effect and the Population Variable has a negative and significant effect on inequality of income distribution.
