"Doing exercises is an essential part of the scientific learning\r\nprocess, which in practice requires a considerable learning habit and\r\npractice. There are various forms and types of exercises available for\r\npractical use, including those made available on the internet. This\r\ntype of exercise available online can be accessed by anyone\r\nincluding students, teachers, and the entire academic community.\r\nThe flexibility and freedom in creating content on the internet opens\r\nup various possibilities for exercises that are not in accordance with\r\nthe curriculum. Therefore, it is necessary to study its relevance for\r\nfurther use in the classroom as a source of learning materials. The\r\nquality of the various exercises provides a gap as well as a challenge\r\nin examining and analyzing its feasibility as a way to monitor the\r\nexercises available online. This is inseparable from efforts to\r\nmaintain the quality of education in Indonesia.\r\nThis research addressed exercises in Natural Sciences (IPA) in\r\nElementary Schools (SD) and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), which are\r\nmade available on the internet through Google and YouTube search\r\nresults. This research aims to answer three questions, namely: what\r\nare the Core Competencies (KI) and Basic Competencies (KD) for\r\nScience Subject in the 2013 Curriculum? What are the forms,\r\npatterns, and characteristics of learning practice on online exercises\r\nat SD/MI? and What is the relevance of online exercises on Science\r\nsubject for SD/MI with the 2013 Curriculum? This study used a\r\nqualitative method with descriptive analysis to analyze KI and KD,\r\ndoing exercises on questions, and the relevance of these online\r\nexercises to the 2013 Curriculum. The data were analyzed through\r\ndescriptive research method to examine online exercises for in-depth\r\nunderstanding by associating them with the existing theoretical\r\naspect. This study looks at the alignment between the 2013\r\nCurriculum on Science subject and the existing Core Competencies\r\n(KI) and Basic Competencies (KD) as well as the quality of the\r\nquestions (entry level of knowledge of Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS), Middle Order thinking Skills (MOTS), or HOTS) by\r\nlooking at the level of knowledge in Bloom's taxonomy which has\r\nbeen revised by Krathwool.\r\nThis study concluded three points, including: First, the\r\nscience material in the 2013 Curriculum is in accordance with the\r\nexisting KI and KD covering aspects of knowledge and skills.\r\nMeanwhile, the spiritual and social aspects were only seen in a small\r\nnumber of questions (in KSM questions). Second, the forms,\r\npatterns, and characteristics of the SD/MI exercises on science\r\nsubject have various qualities in terms of appearance (external\r\naspect) and content (internal aspect). These exercises are generally\r\ndisplayed in three forms, namely interactive, live view and file\r\ndownload. Third, the SD/MI practice on exercises of Science\r\nsubjects are relevant to the 2013 Curriculum. This can be seen in the\r\nparticipation of practice questions with SD/MI Curriculum 2013,\r\nScience materials which are formulated from KI and KD, and have\r\nthe quality and level of HOTS, MOTS and LOTS knowledge.\r\nTheoretical reflection of the dissertation is that the exercises should\r\nbe seen as complementary source in learning science at SD/MI. They\r\nshould train students’ habit in solving natural science materials, most\r\nof which are in the form of questions and quizzes. It is expected that\r\nvarious exercise with different qualities can be produced massively\r\non the internet, so that education can be accessed by all levels of\r\nsociety without having to be constrained by costs."^^ .
