The author found a phenomenon indicating the need for an increase in student self-confidence, because students who lack self-confidence will experience various problems,like students who tend to be passive, no confident in his abilities, and difficult to make decisions. In order to increase student self-confidence, students are provided with group guidance services using Islamic nuanced economic token techniques. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance with token economy techniques with Islamic nuances to increase student self-confidence. This study used an experimental method with this type of research pre-experimental use one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was students of class VIII D SMP N 9 Yogyakarta. Sampling in this study using techniques purposive sampling as many as 5 students. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire on the student's self-confidence scale and interviews. Data analysis using test wilcoxon signed ranks test with the help of programsIBM SPSS 18 for Windows. Research results Thisstates that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted, proven by value significance of 0.043 (p<0.05).
