However, the growth of tourism in an area will certainly cause various problems to arise, one of which is friction between tourist destinations. Of course, every tourist destination must have a strategy to maintain tourism. If a tour fails to survive in overcoming the existing friction, it will result in bankruptcy and tourism death. This study aims to describe the management strategy carried out by New Rivermoon in maintaining its existence amidst the many tourist destinations in Polanharjo District, Klaten Regency and the impact of New Rivermoon on the community. The author uses this type of research with a qualitative, descriptive approach. The data collection was carried out using documentation techniques, interviews, and observations. Then they were analyzed with the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models, namely by summarizing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data, the source triangulation method was used. Testing the validity of this data is done by testing subjects in several ways and doing the same thing to different subjects so that valid data is obtained. The results of this study explain that in managing the New Rivermoon Adventure Resort & Fun tourist destination, there are several strategies used. The strategy is separated into an internal management strategy and an external management strategy. The internal strategy in question identify the ideals of a tourist destination, conservation and preservation of natural capital owned, construction of infrastructure as physical capital of tourist destinations, and financial management in managing financial capital. Furthermore, the external management strategy includes community participation as owned human capital and the expansion of social networks with social capital. The existence of a tourist destination has an impact on the surrounding community in the field of life. There is an increase in the economy such as the birth of jobs. The socio-cultural field is characterized by improved social structure.
