Syafiq Mahmadah Hanafi, M.Ag. abstract: The Special Region of Yogyakarta is an area that experiences accelerated economic growth every year. The Sleman area is a district in DIY that has the highest economic growth rate out of the five districts/cities in DIY. Total population, total stock of capital goods, land area, natural resources, level of technology used, and other variables are all other factors that influence economic growth in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the economic growth of the Special Region of Yogyakarta is affected by poverty, government spending, the regional minimum wage, and the tourism sector. In this research, panel data regression analysis uses secondary data from 2012 to 2021. Panel data regression analysis with a fixed effect model is the method used in this research. Based on the findings of this research, during the period from 2012 to 2021, the variable government spending and the regional minimum wage variable both have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, the regional minimum wage and tourism variables together have a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth. The coefficient of determination obtained is 0.995486, meaning that the variables of poverty, government spending, regional minimum wages, and tourism can contribute 99 percent (99%) to the variable economic growth. The remaining 1 percent is explained by variables not in the model. date: 2023-03-21 date_type: published pages: 134 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS EKONOMI DAN BISNIS ISLAM thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Rini Kurniawati, NIM.: 19108010033 (2023) PENGARUH KEMISKINAN, PENGELUARAN PEMERINTAH, UPAH MINIMUM REGIONAL (UMR), SEKTOR PARIWISATA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA PERIODE TAHUN 2012 – 2021.
