%X Zakat is a worship that must be carried out for every Muslim who fulfills the requirements for people who give zakat. Factors that can affect the performance of zakat include GRDP, poverty, unemployment, and the ratio of the Muslim population. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of GRDP, the ratio of the Muslim population, unemployment, poverty on the performance of zakat in Indonesia. The research method uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from official websites, including the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Center for Strategic Studies of the National Amil Zakat Agency (PUSKAS BAZNAS). The estimation method used is panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of the study show that poverty and unemployment have a negative effect on the performance of zakat, thus indicating that the two have an opposite relationship. While the ratio of the Muslim population and GRDP has a positive effect on the performance of zakat, this shows that the two have a unidirectional relationship. That is, the variables of poverty, the ratio of the Muslim population, GRDP and unemployment can affect the performance of zakat in Indonesia.
