%T IMPLEMENTASI PROPHETIC LEADERSHIP NABI MUHAMMAD SAW
(Studi Kasus KH. M. Wazir Dahlan Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Darul Amal Bengkulu)
%X The research aimed to discover, describe and analyse the implementation of prophetic leadership by KH. M. Wazir Dahlan in Darul Alam Islamic Boarding School of Bengkulu. This qualitative research employed interview, observation, and documentation techniques to collect data. Data sources in this research are, among others, Head of Darul Alam Boarding School of Bengkulu, asatidz, students, teachers, and alumni.
The research discovered that KH. M. Wazir Dahlan in his prophetic-leadership practice in Darul Alam Boarding School of Bengkulu focused on four points (e.g. shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathonah). 1). Shiddiq or honest all the time produces a strong character. Three types of honesty are honest to Allah, honest to self and honest to others. 2). Amanah or trustworthy comprises commitment and reliability. 3). Tabligh or conveying covers effective dawah communication, has clear vision and shared lofty goals and visions, becomes everyone’s role model, motivator and inspiration, sincere care and touch, and able to collaborate. 4). Fathonah constitutes becoming a learner and, at the same time, a teacher, possessing a good strategy to reach goals and willingness to discuss, and having good time management. He keeps improving his leadership performance and gets closed to Allah at all the time. The urgency of prophetic leadership is to provide knowledge of Prophet Muhammad’s leadership that gives people and country the benefits. If prophetic leadership is not applied, negative ideology is likely to impair the society and the country.
