The aims of this study were (1) to find out the steps for developing the Hero Booklet learning media, (2) to test the feasibility of the Hero Booklet learning media and (3) to measure the effectiveness of the Hero Booklet learning media based on local wisdom integrated with national spirit character values to increase interest. read students of class IV MI / SD. This research uses development research or Research and Development with the ADDIE model which includes 5 steps, namely analysis, design, development, evaluation of implementation. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The test subjects were conducted on fourth grade students at MIMA IV Sukabumi and SD N 3 Waylaga, Bandar Lampung The results of the research on the development of my hero booklet were carried out by a product feasibility validation test conducted by material experts who received a score of 83%, media experts received a score of 91% and linguists obtained a score of 96%. So the validation test of the three validators rated my hero booklet in the "Very Eligible" category. Furthermore, field trials were carried out on class IV educators at MIMA IV Sukabumi obtaining a score of 94% and grade IV educators at SD N 3 Waylaga obtaining a score of 91% each in the "Very Good" category. Then the small-scale trial obtained a score of 93% and the large-scale trial obtained a score of 95% each having a "Very Good" category. Field trials to measure students' reading interest using pretest and posttest questionnaires on Heroku booklets are known to have a significant level (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.005 resulting from the paired sample t-test so that there is a significant difference between pretest and post data test. So it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that my hero booklet before and after being given treatment showed differences that could affect the reading interest of class IV students in SD/MI.
