Strengthening Character Education (PPK) can be implemented at all levels of education. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of Strengthening Character Education (PPK) at SD Sukoharjo Sedayu Bantul Yogyakarta and its implementation through PAI learning. This research is a type of qualitative research (field research). This study used 3 data collection methods, namely: observation method, interview method, documentation method. For data analysis, it uses inductive method data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. As for the data validity technique, researchers use source triangulation and triangulation techniques used to test the level of validity of data obtained by researchers in the field. This research shows the results that: the implementation of Strengthening Character Education (PPK) at SD Sukoharjo Sedayu Bantul Yogyakarta is applied in the classroom, outside the classroom and outside the school. In the classroom through curriculum, classroom management, learning methods, thematic learning, literacy movements, guidance and counseling services, optimization of schools with parents. Outside the classroom through habituation 5s (smiles, greetings, greetings, courtesy, courtesy), one day one surah, praying together before and after KBM, dluha prayers and congregational sluhur prayers, clean Fridays, infaq shodaqoh, TBTQ, religious lectures at PHBI, regular recitation of Ahad Wage, qurban training, lightning boarding school. Outside of school through guidance, motivation and supervision from parents regarding the daily activities that students carry out. Obstacles that occur in the implementation of Strengthening Character Education (PPK) are: lack of communication between teachers and students, lack of understanding of the independent curriculum, internal and external factors in students, lack of self-confidence, limited infrastructure, lack of motivation and support from parents, excessive use of gadgets. The results of the implementation of Strengthening Character Education (PPK) are: female students have reflected the values of character education, are active and enthusiastic in participating in PPK supporting activities and are able to implement them in their daily lives. Instillation of 18 values of character education in female students which aims to strengthen character education in the school environment, peers, family and community.} }
